The papers included in this volume were presented at the Timor-Leste Studies Association’s Understanding Timor Leste 2013 Conference, held at UNTL Liceu Campus, Dili, Timor-Leste, 15 – 16 July 2013. Papers in the collection are divided into two volumes. Volume I contains papers presented in Tetum-Dili and Portuguese, Volume II contains English and Bahasa Indonesia papers.
